ABOUT
red bench co
Steph Nelson, owner and founder of Red Bench Co.
Steph is a change leader, coach, and strategist with a business background and extensive experience successfully guiding people through transformation, both professionally and personally.
She has spent years supporting individual personal growth as well as teams, leaders, and executives- bridging personal development and organizational change across environments ranging from small businesses to complex, billion-dollar enterprises.
Her work focuses on designing and leading change strategies that help people move from where they are to where they want, and need, to be. From building transformation roadmaps to guiding leaders through pivotal moments, her expertise blends strategic rigor with a deep understanding of how people actually change.
Before leading change for others, she was her first transformation project.
Every framework she teaches, every question she asks, and every perspective she offers is grounded in lived experience. She understands what it feels like to outgrow old versions of yourself, to navigate uncertainty, and to stand at the edge of something new without a clear path forward. That experience shapes a coaching and consulting style that is actionable, compassionate, and deeply human.
Red Bench Collective was created from that place.
Steph founded the company to be a home for meaningful, warm transformation. The kind that doesn’t come from being told what to do, but from a light-bulb moment sparked by a thoughtful conversation. The kind that happens with a friend or mentor who truly cares, listens deeply, and supports aligned integration over urgency.
The bench is intentional. It represents pause, perspective, and conversation. A place to sit, reflect, and see things differently.
Art has always been part of that process.
Since childhood, she has turned to art as a way to cope, release, inspire, and remember. Art has helped her process change and mark important moments when words alone weren’t enough. It remains one of the primary ways she integrates experience into meaning.
The artwork created and sold through Red Bench Collective is intended to do the same for others- to serve as visual reminders of their own transformations, whether large milestones or subtle internal shifts. These pieces are more than interesting decorations, they are conversations you can hang on your wall.
Red Bench Collective exists to help people integrate change that lasts and to remind people that sometimes the most powerful shifts happen when you pause just long enough for something to truly click.
